Really good food, tastes authentic and I've live in Phoenix for the last 3 yrs I had the chorizo taco and torta and in the past have had the burritos and loved it all, very rich tasting. Its not too expensive and they have the usual expansive mexican menu. Give it a shot.

Best tacos in the SW suburbs! Not to be missed if you're craving Mexican street food. I drive well out of my way to come here.

I came in and ordered 4 steak tacos with a jaritto. The food here was just alright and a little greasy too. I think next time I'm in the mood for Mexican food I'll just drive farther south on Lagrange to Chipotle.

First just let me admit, I'm not a huge fan of Mexican cuisine. My Latino boyfriend grew up in a home where his grandmother made authentic Mexican food from scratch. My Americanized versions leave much to be desired. We were driving around the Orland Park area, when we found a restaurant that looked promising, we googled it. Went all the way up La Grange from Countryside, and googled, googled, googled. This place had the best reviews of any place in the whole area. Being the generous partner that I am, I agreed to try it. I had the beef burrito suizo, with rice and beans on the side. My boyfriend had the steak burrito, also as a meal with rice and beans on the side. He had a horchata and I had a can of 7-up or sierra mist or something. We got a basket of warm tortilla chips and salsa and had a chicken quesadilla as an appetizer. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was that they only accept cash. So we had to turn around and go to an ATM. They do have an ATM inside the store, but I didn't look to see what bank it belongs to. Our bank was just right across the street so it was easy. There were 2 people working here. A man cooking and a woman running the front of the store. She was cleaning the whole time we were there. You could see inside the kitchen and it was very clean. I like to be able to see my food being made and I refuse to eat at a dirty restaurant. I was impressed with how meticulous she was while cleaning. Things like that make me happy. Our food was ready super quick and it was DELICIOUS. I mean, I'll go back anytime my boyfriend wants, and I actually think I might like Mexican food now. It was so so good. My boyfriend said the mexican rice was just like how his grandma use to make and he had never had any that tasted like hers. I loved everything on my plate but I couldn't finish because the burrito was huge. I tried to eat it all but I was so stuffed I couldn't eat another bite. I love this little place and I can't wait to go back. I did taste my boyfriends horchata and it was crazy good. He got one to go and I got a refill of his to go. I had tried this drink only once before and I wasn't impressed, but this was unbelievable and my boyfriend said that that's how they SHOULD taste, but you rarely find them that good. Our total ticket was $31 ish before tip. I can't wait to go back and give them more of my money!

Meh.... That about sums up my experience here. I have had MUCH better quick service Mexican food before. It is not an AWFUL meal here but you can find MUCH better out there. I wan't really expecting outstanding service here, but the lady waiting on us need to lose the attitude. She must have been in a foul mood because it showed. She was not rude but she sure appeared that we majorly inconvenienced her by coming and ordering food. Sorry guys, I won't bother you any more. I will find someplace else nearby where I can find some quick service Mexican

I do not think this place is at all great. The service is not so nice and the food is very greasy. Expect to digest over a thousand calories on any food there.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
